When you’re back online, it just catches up
The orders you took offline sync automatically as soon as the connection returns. There is no file export, no manual re-entry, and no hoping the last hour survived. Because each change is recorded in order, two terminals coming back online do not overwrite each other; the system knows how to reconcile them.
Why this is harder than it looks
“Works offline” is easy to put on a feature list and hard to make reliable. The difficult part is not only taking orders without a connection; it is returning online without creating duplicates or losing changes. We spent real engineering effort on the part operators should never have to think about: a local queue that survives a reboot, sync that can resume safely, and conflict handling with defined outcomes.
